first album by hannover´s SUCKSPEED on WE BITE RECORDS from 1989. metal/thrash influenced hardcore... ok. let´s call it crossover. they formed in 1987 and split up in 1994/5(?). SUCKSPEED were also a member of the SPIRIT FAMILY.the guitarist Jochen Gutsch also played in bands like FEEDBACK RECYCLING, PROFESSOR (see the post in my blog) oder BUCKETHEAD. i think he´s still doin´the band HINTERLAND. i saw the two last named bands live at GLOCKSEE last year, but hmmm... while BUCKETHEAD were still sounding like west-coast melody punk HINTERLAND had nothin´ to with HC at all... so i went on drinkin outside the venue, haha.
