INFAUST / CORRUPTED - split 7" EP

INFAUST was a three piece noise/hardcore band from hannover. i posted their debut album "muster" before, but on this 7" is one of their best songs at all.

the record was released in 2002 by BLIND DATE RECORDS in three different limited versions: normal sleeve/red vinyl (62), special sleeve/black vinyl (111), special sleeve/red vinyl (40). i have a spare copy of the special "chromagan" cover on black vinyf or trade for one on red...

i don´t think i have to write something special about the flip-side...CORRUPTED are CORRUPTED: slow, nasty & dark...

here´s a brief view on the bands live apperiance:

please don´t mix up these INFAUST with the shitty black metal band from the woods of east germany.

FRANZ WITTICH - punk ist das geilste 7" EP

that´s for true. punk fuckin rules, haha. these notorious punx have been around for some years now and finally they got their own 7 inches of organ-driven hc-punk...

this record was a one time pressing of 300 vinyls on PISSTROPHY , D.P.G. RECORDS & PAIN OF MIND. the record was pressed in a backyard in hamburg and first they fucked 300 vinyls up, because the colour was everything else than pink. some of these were used for the release-show edition with a hand-made cover. i think there were 25 copies.

this beautiful image shows the singer and hannover´s infamous king of punk, who´s the bassist in this bunch of miseducated cretins.

they all have been in bands like AUDIO KOLLAPS, SANITÄR, SUBSISTENCE and RECHARGE before...

the download contains the three songs from the 7" plus one leftover from the recording session.

highly recommended: JUDGEMENT - singles

no. not from hannover. osaka, japan. home of the legendary JUDGEMENT. one of the best punk/hardcore bands i´ve ever heard. matchless and intense hardcore with hard-rock influence - bruning spirits sound at it´s best!

the band featured members of DEATH SIDE and BASTARD...

the download contains their four 7" EPs "haunt in the dark", "process", "no reason why" & "night brings".

HIER KREPIERT - "band" feature

new band by our rehearsal-room-mates from RAUM 101 featuring one of hannover´s most controversial scene weirdos: who does not want to be mentioned here. there are also members of DRUG REVIVAL in it.

sounds like a weird mix of 90s noise/alternative-rock and bands like OMA HANS...

whatever... i like it...

check them out on myspace...

NOVEMBER 13TH - s/t 2008 LP

third lp by my alltime favourite band from hannover... of course another Pain of Mind release...

fuck. what to say about this? it´s just great!
after a quiet year 2007 they went on a tour with GLASSES in the uk and played some gigs here and there... i heard some of their new songs some time ago and again it sounded brilliant...

Doom over HC-Hausen - WHITEBUZZ -

i recently discovered this band while i heard their noise next to our rehearsal room... they just released their debut-album on METEORCITY RECORDS and went on a short tour with hannover´s instrumental post rockers HERMELIN!

this is really good stuff for those of you who are into doom/sludge... long amtmospehric tracks with melvins-like vocals.

a download will maybe follow...

T-34 - demo CD-R

new hardcore/punk outfit direct from hannovers frontline! again the usual suspects of NOVEMBER 13TH, PIAZZA DROPOUT, CAVE CANEM and so on...

this download contains their demo cd-r they sold on few shows. these songs and a couple more will be released on vinyl on WALKING COFFIN RECORDS, PANZERDIVISION BOLZKOW and PAIN OF MIND as a limited pressing of 300 soon after hannover´s top punk labels refused to release it due to some weird arguments...

so check them out. kind of mix between old us hardcore and japanese influenced punk... so what?

KIDS OF THE BLACK HOLE - scary MLP

kind of new mini-lp by hannovers K.O.T.B.H.! six new songs which start where their demo-tape ended... really nice cover-art by sam of GLASSES / THE F.A.!

another incest band with members of NOVEMBER 13TH, INFAUST and so many more... haha. but this time the music is more melodic and dedicated to old us-punk. i wonder where their name comes from.

the pic on the left shows the cover of the test-pressing, haha. lp released on Pain of Mind.

HEADACHE - fanzine #1

hey everybody, no music right now. i just released a fanzine i wrote in the last half year...
it contains a kind of travel-diary i wrote during my trip in the uk last summer, two short stories, some thoughts, a BICKLES CAB interview and the ususal stuff like reviews... 45 pages on the whole.

it´s only in german (except the interview). to order get in contact via: info@pain-of-mind.com

NOVEMBER 13TH - split with AK47, demo & compilation tracks!

allright folks! here we got all the missing stuff by NOVEMBER 13TH that you were searching for... first we got their first and only demo-tape from 2003. some songs were later re-recorded and released on their first lp. i think the demo was limited to 200 copies and was sold out short after it´s release.
after the demo they released a split 7´ with AK47 by OI FREE YOUTH PRODUCTIONS in the same year. i don´t think it´s still available anywhere. hearing that old songs you´ll recognized that this band improved a lot. their early stuff sounds much more like HIS HERO IS GONE or FROM ASHES RISE then their new lp for example, which sounds very unique.
i also added all their songs which were only released on different compilations: G18 (ex-squat in bremen) benefit cd, opre roma benefit cd and the dystopias demise a.l. benefit cd. there´s also a kind of "funny" cover version of PINK FLOYDs´ "the wall"...
so enjoy it!

BURNED OUT / AMEN 81 - split LP

ha. found this one in another blog. nice. unfortunatly the tracks by AMEN 81 are missing... but there are some bonus tracks by BURNED OUT from different compilations in the folder.
BURNED OUT started somewhere in the 90s and from time to time they are still playing some shows around germany... short songs and pissed as fuck. one of the best hardcore-bands in hannover. i´ll upload the amazing 7´ next time...

GELBKREUZ - ballade des deliriums EP

another unknown band... fuck. i can´t find anything. this 7´ was released in 1983 - d.i.y.! but i know about you nerds... i don´t think this was a very important band...

ALTE KAMERADEN - demos & live

oh dear. what a name. no. this not a nazi-band or something like that... it´s karl nagel´s first try do something like a band... but who the fuck is karl nagel? i think he likes himself... to me he is an idiot... harhar. if you want some information about him please click here. he was quite active in the punk-scene and formed later on the "spirit family collective" and played in several other bands like MILITANT MOTHERS, MORBID OUTBURST, PREUSSENS GLORIA... nevermind.
the recordings are demos and live-takes. the band never released a 7´or lp. they later changed their name into PREUSSENS GLORIA. cult or rubbish... it´s your choice...

KALTWETTERFRONT - wenn kaputt dann wir spass LP

second lp by this early punkband from hannover. they are quite similar to HANS-A-PLAST (except the vocals). the lp was released in 1982 by the FROSTSCHUTZ label, which was owned by the bands´ drummer. i could not find any information when the band was formed and when they split up... sorry. but i think you´ll enjoy it...

KOSMONAUTENTRAUM - juri gagarin LP

formed in 1980 by vocalist ziggy xy and drummer e.k.t. this was more a project than a real band. they released quite a lot of stuff and cassettes and vinyl with different guest-musicians. their fist lp "juri gagarin" was released in 1982 by the famous ZICK ZACK label from hamburg, which was run by the SOUNDS journalist alfred hilsberg.

the record is something between ndw and pop. i don´t know. i´m not really into this kind of music, but i like the humor...

AUDIO KOLLAPS - music from an extreme sick world 12´

second "longplayer" by this crust/grind/death-metal band, which was formed out of the left-overs of RECHARGE. there are two different artworks. the one shown above is the limited version released by the band. EPISTROPHY released it in 2005 with a different artwork as 12´ and cd version. it was also released (as a cd) in the us by CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY and in south america by BOMBARDEIO DISTRO (as a split cd with SOCIAL CHAOS). for more information visit the webside.

BOSKOPS - the LPs

i think boskops are one of the well known bands from hannover. formed in 1982 their aggressive style was unique. the band consisted, in it´s first line-up, of members of BLITZKRIEG! in 1983 FROSTSCHUTZ released their first lp "sol 12".
after a line-up change the legendary MÜLLEIMER label released the 2nd lp "lauschgift" in 1985.
in 1988 the band released the "fedia" lp by themselfes and split up soon after it´s release...
in 1991 SNAKE (a kind of A.M. MUSIC sub-label) released the "non-plus-ultra" CD, which includes the "lauschgift" LP. i don´t know anything else about this release...
for more information please have a look at this webside.
